Outdoor toys can entertain your child for hours-the very toys have features and accessories that keep them hooked and interested. How do you choose the outdoor playthings for your child? The following guidelines should help:

1. Choose toys that match your child’s interests.

If your son jumps on the furniture all day, consider an outdoor set that hat plenty of jumping and climbing opportunities, like a bouncy house or ball pit. If your daughter loves to play in the bathtub, consider toys that squirt or sprinkle water, or even an age appropriate set of pool toys.

2. Choose toys that are sturdy and durable.

Look for a strong and sturdy toys set for your child. Toddlers can be hard on their belongings-banging them together, chewing on edges, and simply dropping them to the ground. Choose quality toys that will stand up to vigorous play. Choose a quality set made of tough plastic, thick vinyl, or wood. Keep in mind that the toy you choose should be able to withstand being outside. Items made from cloth may not hold up well to the elements, and should be stored indoors.
