My daughter who will be 4 at the end of Jan plays on it for hours by herself. It is educational & entertaining. I would have normally read some reviews before purchasing it. I would have compared the competition like V Tech but this one happened to be sale at Target one day and I just went for it. We have had it for about 2 months now and she can turn it on by herself, change the cartridges by herself, play all of the different games that it offers by herself. It's the best $40 I have spent on an electronic game so far. She has 3 cartridge games. Dora, Learning Carnival, and Puppy Pals. She like to play them all. Plus most of them are games that require a lot of mouse use, and Leap Frog didn't do the best on making a nice easy to use mouse for preschoolers. I wouldn't buy and wouldn't recommend again.
