The dish set is VERY cute, seems durable. I love finding toys that are functional and cute that aren’t plastic! The set isn’t cheap but then most wooden alternatives aren’t and will last longer and/or be less harmful if/when they do wind up in a landfill.

This was a gift for my son who will be three at the end of the year. He LOVES it!! Plays with it every day. Vest is easy for toddlers and preschools to take on and off unassisted. Goggle are just loose enough not to leave a mark, but tight enough to stay on. The little hat is slightly big on my son, but a stuck a wsh rag in the side between the hat and the adjuster and it fits perfectly. Little pockets hold the tools perfectly and are easy for a child to put in and take out. Love the fact the vest is machine washable, as my son has a lo of allergies and I need things that can be washed often in HOT. He fixes any and everything you can think of. He is constantly asking what he can fix next or build next. Built me a nice new house after breakfast. The saw will actually cut a cardboard box, even though it is not sharp like a real tool. He gets a giant kick out of that. Hats off to Melissa and Doug. This one is a winner.

My 3-year old son really likes this construction worker play set. The vest is very authentic. Everything seems to be pretty well-made and durable. The only drawback is the pockets in the vest are not deep enough to hold the hammer or saw, hence 4 stars and not 5 stars.

I bought the Mudpie kitchen to replace our Step 2 kitchen sink which never worked properly. This product, unlike the Step 2 product, is a keeper! My girls, ages 2 and 6 both love it. The water tank hold lots of water and it is easily dispensed by pushing down on the red hand pump. Even my two year old can make the water come out. The mixer is very cute and the handle on it also turns easily. We are going to be making a lot of mudpies this summer. Thanks Little Tikes!

If you have toddlers you MUST BUY THIS TOY!!!! This is seriously one of the greatest toys on the planet. My only suggestion is that you go out and buy a bag of top soil or play sand so you know what your kids are making mud pies out of. Fill it with water, give them a pile of dirt and grab your camera because it’s going to be fantastic. It’s hilarious on so many levels. I have to pull my toddlers away from this kicking and screaming every time. The minute the back door is open they are back at it again dancing around for me to fill it up. My biggest disappointment is that I didn’t invent this myself.

I bought the mudpie kitchen for my granddaughter who is 18 months old. She loves it, even though she will have to gain a little height and strength to do the water pump and mixer by herself. She is having such a great time with the water toys and pouring water from one thing to another, and the mixer and pump give mom and grandma chance to get into the play. I think this toy will provide lots of fun in lots of different ways for the next 2-3 years at least. I’m very happy with this toy so far (bought about 1 month ago).

I bought these trucks because my 2 year old son is obsessed with contruction trucks and I needed a “surprise treat” for our long vacation drive. Needless to say – I have only given him 3 of the 8 trucks since his attention is captured for so long with each one of them. I literally gave him the cement mixer this weekend to “convince” him to get his haircut. And it worked!! They are great small toys – can hide them in your purse/pocket/diaper bag so they are easy to carry and access when needed. Plus they have fun interactive parts – the forklift really lifts up, the cement mixer tumbler really turns ….they are just fun. Its a present that keeps on giving…since I can space out how quickly I hand out the next one. Please note there are small parts to the toys that do come off, but they are pretty durable and tons of fun.

I wish I had listened to the other reviewer before I purchased these for my son. When that reviewer said they were cheap, I thought, well, I only need them for a weekend, a special occasion, I’ll get them anyway. Believe it or not, these items broke coming out of the box! It took not even two seconds for each item to break almost as soon as it was played with. Beyond worthless.

This set is very cheap and anyone who has a boy who is even mildly rough on toys will be disappointed with this item. The parts are very cheap, flimsy plastic and even the metal parts are not very sturdy. You would be better off even purchasing Matchbox or other more inexpensive brands if you don’t want your child frustrated by broken machines. My two year old does love the variety of the set, but sadly they will not last. If I saw this in the store I would not have bought, the poor quality does not compare to the price.

My son got this for his birthday; and right now, it’s his favorite pool toy. I say pool toy, because that’s really they best place for it. It shoots lots of water a long distance, but it needs to be reloaded after each shot. That’s where the pool comes in. It looks like a short pool noodle and floats just as well; which is great, because it won’t get lost in the pool.

It’s a terrific gift for a kid. You can never have too many. The more, the better. How else will they do battle?

This was a replacement for my grandson’s other liquidator that broke. The kids loved it so much, they got a little reckless and pulled the plunger back to far and snapped it off. It’s a good way to get the kids outside on a hot day and get some activity. I bought a couple of extra ones since they weren’t available in the stores any longer (all summer stuff was removed before the end of August). Very happy with the Liquidator, and the kids like it too.
